AFTER TREATMENT

- Moisturise to keep skin smooth and hydrated.
- Gently exfoliate 5-7 days after a wax to help remove dead skin and reduce ingrown hairs.
- We recommend waxing every 4-6 weeks (depending on individual hair growth).

1. How long do the hairs need to be for a wax?
    - You will need around 3-4 weeks of hair growth (1/4 Inch).

2. Does waxing hurt?

    - Waxing typically causes a short stinging sensation. Some areas hurt less than others, however with regular waxing, hair becomes thinner and easier to remove, therefore less painful.

3. What is the difference between hot and strip wax?
    - Hot wax doesn't require a strip to remove, however strip wax (or warm wax) does. Hot wax is used for areas with thicker hair, such as, bikini or underarms, and strip wax is used for finer hair and larger areas.

4. Does waxing change hair growth?

    - Yes, with waxing, the hair is removed from the root, causing it to take longer to come back. If the area is waxed repeatedly, the hair roots will eventually stop forming in areas, causing a much sparser hair growth.

5. Is the redness after a wax normal?

    - Completely normal! The redness and sometimes spotting you see after a wax should be gone within 48 hours. (Aloe Vera Gel works great to soothe the skin post wax).
